Here are two spectacular Marvelmania posters featuring Captain America. The first is of course by Jim Steranko, one of four remarkable images produced by Steranko for the short-lived fan club. (All that glory for a mere buck.)
The second is by Jack "King" Kirby and is torn from the cover of Captain America #106.
Today is the day to remember those who have given their all to protect us all. Public service is a noble act when performed nobly. Public servants are not our masters and the republic would be well served to remember what the values are that so many brave men and women have sacrificed themselves for.
